Ethics & conduct

Standards for staff, contractors, and officials interacting with members, markets, and the public.

Code of conduct

  • Integrity — no misuse of confidential supervisory or market information
  • Independence — separation between policy advice and personal financial interests
  • Respect — anti-harassment and non-discrimination expectations
  • Conflicts — disclosure, recusal, and post-employment restrictions (jurisdiction-specific)

Gifts & hospitality

Thresholds, pre-approval rules, and public registers of gifts above de minimis levels will be published here. Until then, staff follow interim guidelines issued by the Secretary General's office.

Reporting concerns

Suspected breaches may be reported through line management, ethics officers, or the whistleblower channel. Security vulnerabilities follow the responsible disclosure process.
